Vacil Salvadoreno Taco Loco specializes in flavorful Salvadoran and Mexican cuisine, with a menu packed full of hearty favorites that have quickly made it a local legend. Among the stars is the Torta Cubana (US$22.53), a lavish sandwich that layers rich, savory meats with spiced sauces—perfect for those craving a robust and satisfying experience. For burrito lovers, options like the Mole Burrito (US$17.59), with its complex, velvety mole sauce, and the generous Super Burrito (US$15.47) offer a delightful mix of textures and bold flavors. The Pollo Asado (US$19.26) brings tender, marinated chicken bursting with smoky char and zesty seasoning.
One cannot discuss Vacil Salvadoreno Taco Loco without highlighting their acclaimed pupusas (US$17.80), the traditional Salvadoran stuffed corn tortillas. Praised by customers as “the best pupusas in town” and “as authentic as you can get,” these are a must-try. They echo home-style cooking with a perfect balance of melty cheese, flavorful beans, and seasoned pork or other fillings encased in a golden, pillowy tortilla. To complement the pupusas, their tacos (US$15.50) come highly recommended, especially the beef cheek and steak options, each bite delivering an ideal harmony of juicy meat, crisp toppings, and warm tortillas.
Although Vacil Salvadoreno Taco Loco operates out of a food truck, the hospitality elevates the dining experience. Friendly, speedy service combined with high-quality food creates a welcoming vibe that makes patrons feel like part of this passionate culinary journey. Many customers admire the staff’s warmth, the efficient service, and the opportunity to enjoy their meal outdoors or take it on the go. One reviewer charmingly recounts ordering their food and taking a stroll with their dog, noting the meal was ready just in time for their return.
What this taco truck lacks in formal seating and ambiance, it more than makes up for with authenticity, generous portions, and a menu that satisfies cravings for rich Latin American flavors. If you’re after a flavorful, comforting, and affordable meal in Seattle that channels the heart and soul of Salvadoran cuisine, Vacil Salvadoreno Taco Loco should be your go-to spot. Best pupusas in town. Just like in El Salvador. Service was amazing, it's a food truck so not the best atmosphere i really hope they get to have an actual restaurant soon. They deserve it as the service was nice and the food extremely good.

I’ve tried over 30 tacos places around Seattle and this remains my number one. Simple, affordable, delicious. The service is friendly as well. Perfect place honestly, bug menu too. Cant wait till I go back.

I love eating here. I am a huge fan of papusas and these are as authentic as you can get. They are delicious. The service is speedy and the people running it are really nice. Highly recommend! I often order my meal and then take my dog for a walk around the block, it's ready by the time I get back :)

Always fantastic. They used to be up on 80th. I love the newer larger truck. I love the food. And as a Salvadoran I can say I approve of the Pupusas wholeheartedly! Enjoy!

WOW! Some really great food truck Mexican food! Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. The beef cheek and steak tacos were delicious and the wet burrito will definitely fill you up. They have all the meats including beef tongue.
